Inner Quadrant

Story

Inner Quadrant is an audiovisual installation created for Bright Festival in Florence as a showcase of Cabinaa's artistic practice. On a large screen, real-time generative visuals unfold to an immersive soundscape heard through headphones, drawing the audience into an interplay between light and dark, sound and silence, physical objects and ideas. Forms emerge, dissolve and recombine, prompting us to consider what collaboration makes possible when different elements are brought together.

The work is a reflection of our era, emphasising the importance of connectivity in a fragmented world. It stands for the possibility of diverse elements uniting into something exceptional — a symbol of social unity and understanding.

I originated the concept and idea, identified the technology to realise it and carried the whole project through: directing the creative technologist, managing the production and overseeing the venue set-up from first sketch to opening night.
